Forster Presto

FORSTER PRESTO is a modern steel system used to make the exterior and interior architectural elements that do not require thermal insulation, e.g. different types of partition walls, windows and doors , including manually and automatically operated sliding doors, swing doors, vestibules, shop windows, cash-desk boxes, display cabinets, spatial constructions, as well as fire and smoke-proof structures in the classes E30, E60, E/S30, E/S60.

The constructional depth of profiles is: for window – 50 mm (frame) and 60 mm (sash), and for door – 50 mm and 50 mm, respectively. When the windows and doors are closed, these depths of sash and frame sections give the effect of a single plane for windows and the effect of the leaf being flush with the frame surface for doors, when looking from the outside. The FORSTER PRESTO system sections have an identical exterior appearance as the sections in the fire system FORSTER FUEGO LIGHT. The shape of profiles allows slim and durable window and door constructions to be obtained.

FORSTER PRESTO allows for the constructing of structures with large overall dimensions including, but not limited to, single-leaf doors with external dimensions S=1480 mm x H=3070 mm.

Tightness is ensured by the use of special EPDM gaskets, which provide resistance to ageing during long-term operation.

The system allows for the use of pane units with a thickness of from 4 mm to 35 mm in window sashes and from 4 mm to 26 mm in fixed windows and window leaves.

The variant in the form of sections with a depth of 60 mm is also available.

Profiles are available in black steel, stainless steel and as galvanised products.
