MB-60 EF, MB-60EF HI


The system allows execution of windows suitable for installation in the mullion / transom façade MB-SR50 EFEKT. Thus, the façade features specific appearance, i.e. on the “all-glass” external surface of the façade there is a clear outline of an aluminium window frame. External surfaces of window profiles and glass panels are aligned. This characteristic visual effect is often a preferable solution for architects.

The MB-60EF windows installed on the façade feature good thermal insulation performance, due to, inter alia, keeping the internal insulation of window profiles, facade and glass panes as a continuous belt. The window profile is fitted with a special, grooved thermal spacer, which enables installation of windows by means of standard connecting members applied in the MB-SR50 EFEKT façade. Such solution considerably speeds up and facilitates the process of window installation, contributing to its cost efficiency. The manner of glazing, applied hardware and allowable dimensions of windows are the same as in the base MB-60 system.

This is a version of the MB-60E system with an improved thermal insulation: MB-60EF HI. The improved thermal insulation is obtained by placing special inserts in the central chambers of aluminium profiles. Owing to a low value of the heat-transfer coefficient, the inserts decrease heat transfer through the construction and simultaneously reduce convection and thermal radiation in them.
